Switzerland: Man wounded in bear attack at park

A man was wounded in a bear attack at Switzerland's Bear Park, opened a month ago to offer a more spacious home to the animals after which the Swiss capital Berne is named, police said on Saturday.

Swiss media said the man climbed up the fence of the bear reserve and was attacked and seriously wounded. Police shot the animal, which was wounded but not killed, local media also said. (Reuters)
