PMO on Shalit deal: Some report intentionally distorted

In response to reports that a deal securing the release of kidnapped soldier Gilad Shalit is around the corner, the Prime Minister's Office said, "Many details have been published recently originating abroad and in the foreign media without being accredited. Some of them are even intentionally distorted."
"The efforts to release Gilad Shalit are always continuing, far from the media's eye. We do not intend to say anything beyond this," said a communiqué from the office. (Attila Somfalvi)
