Turkish president calls on Israel to bring regional peace
Turkish President Abdullah Gül said during a TV interview in Lebanon that "Israel must bring security to the region, in order to live securely within its borders," adding that "this does not conflict any neighboring country."
The president further said that "Palestinians must found an independent state on Palestinian lands, which will exist alongside Israel in peace and security." (Roee Nahmias)
