Unknown arsonists attempted to set fire to former Minister Saleh Tarif's car in the town of Julis in the western Galilee. Akko Police have opened an investigation.
A report was received by Ynet Saturday night that Defense Minister Ehud Barak asked Tarif to send a message in his name to Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas. (Ahiya Raved)
