Iran, Syria sign defense cooperation protocol
Iran and Syria signed a defense cooperation protocol on Friday, the last day of Iranian Defense Minister Ahmad Vahidi's visit to Damascus.
According to Iranian media, the two countries stressed the need to strengthen their military ties. According to the document, the countries will share their military experience and hold ongoing consultations on defense issues. (Dudi Cohen)
