Mazuz: Institutional attacks on judicial system endanger society

Outgoing Attorney General Menachem Mazuz said during the cabinet meeting, "The judicial system, headed by the Supreme Court, in every democratic system serves as the only decisive body as a guarantee to protect the values of democracy and human rights."
"When we go from relevant criticism to personal and institutional attacks through delegitimizing legal decisions, this is likely to endanger the foundations of Israeli society," said Mazuz. (Roni Sofer)
