2 Hamas men arrested in Beersheba last month

It was cleared for publication that two Hamas operatives from east Jerusalem were arrested at the central bus station in Beersheba at the start of January. A Shin Bet investigation revealed that the two were recruited by Hamas abroad during their studies in Jordan and Dubai.
The probe further showed that they were sent to collect information on potential terror targets. Later Monday two are to be charged with aiding the enemy during wartime and espionage. (Hanan Greenberg)
