Foreign Ministry: Ban Ki-Moon mirrors our sentiments on Goldstone

Jerusalem expressed its satisfaction with the document submitted by UN Secretary General Ban Ki-Moon to the UN General Assembly even though it claims that conclusions cannot yet be drawn regarding Israel's investigation of Operation Cast Lead.

"Israel is satisfied with the fact that the UN secretary general showed faith in the Israeli document submitted this week," the Foreign Ministry in Jerusalem issued in a statement on Friday. (Roni Sofer)
