Six key pieces that are wardrobe must-haves for every Fashionista. From leather gloves to hot knit hats and irresistible slouchy ankle boots, here are some of the items I am wild about this month. You should be too!
Faux fur vest and Jackets: This trend started last season but it’s still going strong. Glam things up bit with this definite ‘it” girl must-have piece. Faux fur jackets are super warm yet stylish, a great alterative to the regular winter uniform coat.
Slouchy ankle boots: Pointed, round-toed, kitten heeled or flat these irresistibly chic boots are not only comfortable but they add just enough flair to any outfit. Best of all, they work for every body type.
Bright leather gloves: Keep your fingers warm this season with these show-stopping accessories. Leather adds an elegance look while bright colors add edge. This new twist on a winter staple is sure to brighten up your dull winter days.
Fitted sweaters: Well, it wouldn't be winter if we didn't wear sweaters, right? But every time winter comes around out come those bulky, over-sized unattractive sweaters. This year I am pleased to see that fitted sweaters are really a hot item. They are very versatile and work for just about every occasion. Glam up you look by pairing it with a velvet boyfriend vest and long necklaces or go casual by wearing your sweater tucked into belted jeans with a pair of flats.
Shades of gray: From the runways to the red carpet designers and celebrities had us seeing gray. A fun versatile shade that says winter is almost over but Spring not quite here yet. Works well with most colors; I love pairing it with midnight blue.
Knit hats: I usually hate wearing hats, (don’t we all?), but this season I really got into knit hats with a twist. The three keys to rocking headwear are: Fit, texture and detailing. Make sure it’s the right fit, is made from a none-itchy comfortable material and has a stand out twist. My favorites are sequins or ruffles.
