Sarkozy: If we don't act, Israel will strike Iran

French President Nicolas Sarkozy urged the international community to take action against Tehran, fearing that if it fails to do so, Israel will attack the Islamic Republic.

Sarkozy told CBS he does not want the world to wake up to a conflict between Israel and Iran because the international community is not capable of action. He said the way to prevent such a disaster is to promise Israel that the world is determined to ensure its security. (Yitzhak Benhorin, Washington)
