Barak talks to Clinton, US national security advisor
Defense Minister Ehud Barak spoke to US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton and National Security Advisor James Jones on Monday in the backdrop of the IDF raid on the Gaza sail. He also spoke with the Turkish foreign minister for the fourth time this week.
During the phone conversations, Barak outlined the legal basis for the Navy's operation and stressed that the responsibility for the violent clash lays solely on the hands of the sail's organizers and not the soldiers, who were only defending themselves. (Roni Sofer)
