Man shot at Turkish embassy is Palestinian from Ramallah
Nadim Injaz, a Palestinian resident of Ramallah, was apparently the one shot at the Turkish embassy in Tel Aviv. Reports that he is still inside the embassy and holding hostages have not yet been confirmed. The Foreign Ministry has sent a representative to the scene in order to try to establish contact with embassy workers.
Meanwhile it has been reported that the Turkish ambassador to Israel, who will soon end his term, is not currently in the country. His deputy is said to be inside the embassy. (Roni Sofer)
