Dirk Nowitzki scores 25 points to lead German team to win at start of European Championship
Dirk Nowitzki scored 25 points to lead Germany to a 91-64 win over Israel at the start of the European Championship on Wednesday.
The Dallas Mavericks star played 27 minutes. Chris Kaman of the Los Angeles Clippers added 18 points and 10 rebounds for Germany in its Group B opener.
The two dominated a smaller Israeli team, which got 20 points from Guy Pnini.
