EuroBasket: Serbia beats Israel 89-80
Israel drops to 0-3 in European Championship's Group B after losing to France, Germany as well earlier this week
Serbia used a big fourth quarter to beat Israel 89-80 to remain perfect after three games at the European Championship on Friday.
After trailing for most of the first three quarters, Serbia clamped down on defense and outscored Israel 31-16 in the fourth.
Dusko Savanovic led Serbia with 24 points, including a key 3-pointer late in the game. Nenad Krstic added 18 and Marko Keselj had 15, including another late 3-pointer.
Israel dropped to 0-3 in Group B despite Yotam Halperin's 18 points after losing to France on Thursday and to Germany on Wednesday.
