ICL will market the polymer through its subsidiary, ICL Industrial Products. ICL also said that it plans to build a new factory to produce up to 10,000 tons a year of FR122P. The company is currently exploring a number of potential locations for the plant, including Israel and Holland, and hopes it can become operational by 2014. Ilan Elkan, VP of Flame Retardants for Israel Chemicals, said the ICL is "determined to continue to be the leading manufacturer and marketer of the next generation of flame retardants, and we are committed to supplying our customers with a wide variety of quality products that meet their needs everywhere, and at all times."
