Disappointing finish for one of Israel's finest gymnast; Shatilov scores 15.333, losing hopes for medal at London 2012 Olympic Games
LONDON – Israeli gymnast Alex Shatilov finished in sixth place in the gymnastics men's individual floor exercises final at the London 2012 Olympic Games.
Shatilov completed his exercise with a 15.333 score, which was not enough for him to secure a spot at the podium.
The gold medal was won by Chinese gymnast Zou Kai who also won the gold at the Beijing games. He received a score of 15.933.

Before his final floor exercise, Shatilov told Ynet: "I need a score of 5.8 or 15.9 in order to win a medal. I feel excellent in the training sessions."
After completing the exercise, Shatilov said: "This is not what I hoped to achieve. I made an unnecessary mistake in the middle, and that was enough to place me sixth. I took a big leap to the front.
"I have no complaints to the referees. I only blame myself. I was expecting to get a better score with the mistakes I made," he noted.
The 25-year-old gymnast said that he will continue competing, adding that "now its time to relax and thing about what happened and about the future."
