Kim Kardashian regrets Israel-Palestine tweets

Reality show star apologizes for two tweets she posted found offensive by followers

You have to give the Kardashian family credit. It’s one thing to have a series of successful reality shows, a “leaked” sex tape, and a celebrity fragrance. It’s a completely different can of worms to worm your way into the Israeli-Palestine conflict… But, of course, Kim Kardashian has managed to do it.

Kim posted two tweets to her personal account. The first one read, “Praying for everyone in Israel,” while the second one read, “Praying for everyone in Palestine and across the world.”

Apparently many of her fans and non-fans found her tweets offensive, which led to both tweets being deleted and an apology/explanation statement being released.

"I want to own up to and explain that earlier today I sent out two tweets about saying prayers for the people in Palestine and Israel and after hearing from my followers, I decided to take down the tweets because I realized that some people were offended and hurt by what I said, and for that I apologize," the statement reads.

"I should have pointed out my intentions behind these tweets when I posted them. The fact is that regardless of religion and political beliefs, there are countless innocent people involved who didn’t choose this, and I pray for all of them and also for a resolution. I also pray for all the other people around the world who are caught in similar crossfires."
