28-year-old woman dies from swine flu
A 28-year-old woman died at the Soroka University Medical Center in Beersheba after contracting swine flu. The woman arrived at the hospital in critical condition and after extended resuscitation attempts she was pronounced dead.
Medical sources said that she was not vaccinated to the virus. This is the second death in 2013 due to swine flu. Two weeks ago a three-year-old baby died in his sleep and an autopsy revealed he contracted the H1N1 virus which causes the disease. (Dr. Itay Gal)
