Tel Aviv holds Purim block party

Thousands dressed up and made their way to Tel Aviv's official Purim block party held after rain forced event to be postponed from last week.

After being postponed because of rain, Tel Aviv finaly held its annual Purim party, and thousands of Tel Avivians came out in costumes to drink, dance and soak in the warm sun.

 

 

The official event took place in Tel Aviv's Kikar Hamedina (State Square) which ironically is round, and hosted a number of prominent DJs and offered a wide array of activities from stands selling art and trinkets, to street music and food stands. Among those making the rounds at the party was Tel Aviv Mayor Ron Huldai.
