Oktoberfest in Tel Aviv

Ynet presents five places to celebrate the German tradition in the White City.

Oktoberfest, created to celebrate a royal wedding and actually celebrated in September, is one of the biggest festivals in the world. Overtime, the festivities began to reach cities world wide, and this year the celebrations will be felt in Israel's White City – Tel Aviv.

5 Ways to Celebrate Octoberfest in Tel Aviv:

1. Paulner Beer Garden, Sarona Market

There is no more appropriate place to get the beer flowing than in the heart of the newly restored Templar colony known as Sarona. With a charming interior design, you can enjoy a variety of Paulner beers alongside a pretzel or hot dog with a collection of spicy mustards.

There is also a Happy Hour from Sunday to Thursday from 5pm-7pm.

This Tel Aviv beer hall will be serving classic Bavarian dishes with a large selection of German beers and Bavarian style Israeli boutique beers for all of October. Try one of the specials offered on the menu this month including beer stewed cabbage.

The newly opened beer garden near Tel Aviv's Dizengoff square has long wooden benches, taps and kegs that will make you feel as though you escaped to Europe. On the menu: a variety of sauces, meats and hotdogs. Don't miss the live music performances and sports screens.
