WATCH: Truck slams into police cruiser mid-chase
Police stop stolen truck in second attempt, after driver pummels through first blockade.
A police pursuit after a stolen truck was captured on camera Sunday morning. The video shows the truck driver slamming into a police cruiser blocking the road and continuing to flee.
The suspect was caught at the second police barrier after pummeling into a parked truck. The dangerous pursuit, in which police officers fired on the escaping vehicle, ended without any injuries.

A police spokesperson said they received a call regarding a stolen truck in Or Akiva during the morning hours. "The truck was located on the eastbound 5, and a local cruiser initiated pursuit while another police car was sent ahead to block the roadway. When the truck approached the barrier without slowing down, an officer shot at its tires."
"The truck driver did not stop, rammed the cruiser, and continued driving," he added. The high-speed chase continued until the following barrier. "Police officers from the Ariel station staged another blockade a kilometer down the road. When the truck arrived one of the officers fired in its direction and the truck slammed into another truck parked on the shoulder."
