Israelis who wish to experience the changing  colors of the leaves during the upcoming fall season in New England and Americans who wish to stretch out their summer and lay out on the beaches of Tel Aviv into September will now be able to board the direct flight between Boston and Tel Aviv, recently inaugurated by El Al Israel Airlines.

During the summer, from the end of June and until of August 20, the flight will cost $1,399 and in the fall the price will drop to $1,049.

The first flight to Boston's Logan International Airport from Israel will take off on June 28, 2015 and the Israeli airline will conduct three weekly flights between the two cities on a Boeing 767-300 plane with 218 seats – 22 of which bed-seats reserved for business class and 28 seats for economy plus seating.

During the flight, customers will be able to enjoy streaming entertainment systems which can be accessed using personal computers.

The flights from Ben-Gurion Airport will depart at 12:30 am every Sunday, Tuesday and Thursday and will land at Boston's Logan International airport at 5:45 am, local time.

Flights from Boston will also depart every Sunday, Tuesday and Thursday and will arrive in Israel at 3:05 pm.

The flights to Boston will be added to the 34 flights that the company offers to North America, with already established routes to New York, Los Angeles and Toronto.

For those who wish to continue to other destinations in North America from Boston, El Al has signed a code-share deal with Jet Blue enabling travelers to travel to Philadelphia for $1,199, to Dallas, Tampa and Orlando for $1,299 and to San Francisco and Las Vegas for $1,279.

El Al CEO David Maimon says that the company holds a strategic value in strengthening its operation in North America and therefore decided to expand and grow in its routes to the continent.

"Boston is a very popular destination for business travel, and now with the opening of the route we believe that it will also become a popular leisure destination for Israeli families," said Maimon.
