The Camel Ranch in Eilat is pretty well known establishment as one of the oldest places in the city offering camel rides and the all-around desert experience.

But that’s not all. An additional attraction is available in the form of the rope park, the largest of its kind in Israel. Swings, zip-lines, climbing webs, and even bikes - all on ropes. The action paths are divided into three levels of difficulty, from children's groups to seasoned experts; no strength or experience is necessary to enjoy yourself here.

Musical fountains are a common site in some of the world's biggest cities and now its Eilat's turn to showcase its musical fountain. In the middle of Eilat lays an outstanding audio-visual experience in the form of a combined water, music, and light show.

The refreshing attraction is made up of about 350 water jets, performing varied routines, often reaching heights of 30 meters. The water jets are lit by about 400 colorful LED beams. At night the fountain comes to life in a wonderful light and sound show, while providing a place to cool off during the day.

The observatory is one of Eilat's more identifiable landmarks, but if you didn’t know, a new addition was made to the attraction recently, sharks! The large shark pool hosts 18 sharks living in harmony with thousands of stunning fish. Visitors can actually watch the workings of underwater life, all without ever needing to don a mask or scuba gear. An acrylic underwater path allows you to walk at arms length from the predators.

The attraction isn’t cheap, so we suggest you look for discounts through your credit card company.

If you don’t feel like spending your days under Eilat's scorching sun, you better head over to the extreme park TOP94. Experienced climbers will be surprised to find a climbing wall with an emphasis on one specifically tall cliff, which imitates the Eilat Mountains.

What else? The longest zip-line in Israel, spanning 200 meters, repelling, a rope park reaching 17 meters, archery ranges, and a shooting range, all under one air-conditioned roof. As an added bonus, there is a great museum in the facility, which commemorates the "Warriors of the Negev", defiantly worth the visit.
