Looking for a new way to experience the Old Testament, well now you can, after world renowned actress, Scarlet Johansson, read portions of the holy text in a sexy and soothing voice.
The actress was invited to read the text during an appearance on a US radio station, "Tasty Radio," hosted by Mike Obrien.
The recording
Obrien invited Johansson to voice the text after he imaged it being read in a sultry female voice, especially due to the text's less than progressive view on woman, according to him.
Who would fill the role better than the famous actress, who gave her all and fulfilled the role to its fullest, even when she reads difficult portions of the Tanach, which dealt with stoning among other things.
