Colombians rally to demand missing journalists' safe return
BOGOTA- Dozens of people have gathered in Colombia's capital to demand the safe return of three journalists believed to be held by leftist rebels.
Wednesday's demonstration comes two days after two journalists from the right-leaning network RCN went missing in the volatile Catatumbo region. They were covering the search for Salud Hernandez-Mora, a correspondent for the Spanish newspaper El Mundo who was last seen over the weekend.
Authorities have declined to call the disappearances kidnappings. But speculation is rife that all three could be in the hands of the National Liberation Army, one of several rebel groups operating in the region.
