Soldier called ‘whore’ by pro-Palestinian protestors
Demonstrators opposing the demolition of Palestinian homes confront female IDF soldiers; one of them is documented spitting and cursing at one of the soldiers; the IDF issues a statement in support of the soldiers.
A video that went viral over the last few days recorded a pro-Palestinian protest captured an aggressive exchange between a female IDF soldier and a male protestor, who spat at her and called her a “whore.”
The protest’s focus was on the demolition of an illegally built Palestinian structure in the northern Jordan Valley. The soldiers keeping the peace at the protest were part of a mixed-gender unit in the Infantry Corps called the Jordan Lions.

The protest took place on last Thursday in the Jordan Valley. After the protestors arrived on the premise, IDF troops told them to leave.
The footage shows the demonstrators refusing to go as the soldiers continue to request they vacate the area. The protestors can be heard yelling at them to “Drop your weapons” and telling one of the soldiers, “What you’re doing here is ethnic cleansing, these are their lands.”
The video was shot by right-wing activists belonging to “Ad Kan!” ("Enough!"), which aims to “uncover” ulterior motives of left-wing organizations they have accused of trying to undermine the international community’s perception of Israel.
The demonstration was conducted in light of Palestinian claims that Israel is demolishing building residences in the Jordan Valley where Palestinians have been living for many years while working as farmers and livestock herders. Israeli security sources, on the other hand, said that the structures set to be demolished were erected on non-private land, and that they were not part of an organized village.
The IDF fully supported the soldiers’ actions, with the IDF Spokesperson’s Unit issuing a statement that said, “During an illegal demonstration close to Salit in the valley, an incident occurred that included the disorderly conduct of protestors against security forces. In response to the disorder, the security forces dispersed them.”
