Home of Hamas terrorist destroyed by IDF
Watch: IDF destroys apartment of a Hamas terrorist who murdered two Israelis at a Jerusalem light rail station; terrorist was celebrated by Jerusalem's Arab residents, with sweets being handed out in his name, soccer team honoring him.
Palestinians began shooting at IDF troops on the scene, and even threw improvised grenades at the force. One Palestinian was killed while throwing an improvised grenade. No IDF forces were hurt in the attack.
The terrorist, Masbah Abu-Sabih, was killed in a shootout with Israeli police while committing his attack. Palestinians celebrated his attack by handing out sweets in east Jerusalem, and the Palestinian Al-Quds soccer team officially honored him.
The IDF Spokesperson’s unit said that “the IDF, in conjunction with a political directive, knocked down the home of terrorist Masbah Abu Sabih in Kafr Akab. The house was knocked down with the help of the Israel Border Police and the IDF Civil Administration.
The destruction of the apartment included knocking down the walls and sealing off the rooms. As the building didn’t belong to Abu Sabih himself, the IDF was unable to fully demolish the building.
During the attack, Abu Sabih arrived at the Ammunition Hill light rail station and opened fire, killing two and injuring three. Abu Sabih himself was killed at the scene. He was an Israeli resident of east Jerusalem.
