An abnormal sight greets the workers and visitors of Ashdod Port—a bull that had fallen into the icy waters after slipping off an adjacent dock is rescued by a crane.
An interesting sight greeted the workers and visitors of Ashdod Port on Friday morning when they saw a bull being pulled out of the water by a crane.
Ashdod Port: Bull is rescued from the water
The bull had fallen into the sea in the most inopportune time as the water's temperature was very low.
It had apparently fallen overboard from an adjacent dock, and despite its hefty weight, managed to swim for nearly two hours while keeping its head above water.
The Ashdod Port workers noticed the bull and took a boat down into the water.
They brought a crane on site, which they used to whisk the bull out.
