Man linked with known felon shot dead in Bat Yam
A man connected to a known felon was pronounced dead at the scene of a shooting in the coastal city when a biker produced a gun and riddled his target’s vehicle with bullets; MDA paramedics arrived on the scene to discover the victim was bleeding from multiple wounds; police are currently gathering testimonies as they hunt for the assailant.
A 27-year-old man was shot to death on Monday evening when a biker pulled out a gun and began spraying a vehicle with bullets while driving near the promenade on Ben Gurion Road in the city of Bat Yam.
The victim was apparently working as a security guard for a known felon.
The shooter fled the scene before security forces launched an investigation, gathering eyewitness testimony as they attempted to locate his whereabouts.
Roads were also blocked off in Tel Aviv, Bat Yam and Holon.
Magen David Adom paramedics arrived at the scene and saw the man unconscious and bleeding from various wounds on his upper body.
After efforts to resuscitate the victim, he eventually succumbed to his wounds, forcing them to pronounce his death at the scene.
