Footage from the traffic cameras at the junction shows that the offending vehicle arrived from the direction of Acre, and upon reaching Ahihud junction he sped through a red light. As a result, the vehicle hit another vehicle coming from the direction of the Yavor junction. Later on, the vehicle collides with a traffic island and hits another person—a pedestrian who was waiting on said island. Traffic examiners are continuing to investigate the circumstances of the incident.

Nearly one in four drivers, 23% of respondents, admitted that they had run through at least one red light in the past year.
