Watch: Palestinian rioters vandalize hospital over malpractice allegations
Alleged medical malpractice at the Al-Razi Hospital in Jenin leads to a violent riot during which staff are attacked, gunshots fired into the air and hospital equipment severely damaged.
Armed Palestinian protestors arrived at Al-Razi Hospital in Jenin on Monday and began to riot and destroy equipment while shooting in the air inside the hospital.
The incident was documented by hospital security cameras, and depicts one of the rioters threatening medical staff with a pistol, while several others destroyed the reception desk. The rioters were documented throwing chairs, vandalizing hospital equipment and attacking employees.

Much of the hospital equipment was severely damaged following the riot, as was an ambulance that was parked inside the medical facility. No one was injured in the incident.

The riot took place against the backdrop of a complaint filed by the rioters about negligent medical treatment given to one of the hospital's patients.
Following the incident, Palestinian police forces arrived and an investigation was opened. The local police announced that the identity of the rioters was known and that steps would be taken against them. No suspects have yet been arrested.
