IDF explodes bomb found found in Joseph's Tomb during mass visit

An explosive device and a remote detonator was found inside the tunnels of Joseph's Tomb in Nablus overnight Monday, the IDF said, as thousands of worshipers were escorted by a security detail to the site.

The device was destroyed in a controlled explosion by bomb disposal units.

Rocks were thrown at the buses carrying the worshipers as they entered and left the site, causing light damage but no injuries. One person was arrested.
