A Palestinian state will serve as a national home for the Palestinian people and an answer to the refugee problem in case of a future settlement with the Palestinians, Foreign Minister Tzipi Livni said in a meeting with European Union ambassadors Thursday.
Livni lauded the EU's involvement in the diplomatic process, and urged the international community to stand by its demands from the Palestinians. Indecision and appeasement will only strengthen Hamas, she stated. (Ronny Sofer)
