Ami Ayalon, Labor chairmanship candidate, said at a conference in Tel Aviv Monday evening that "Peretz should not return to Sderot and Barak should not return to business. There is no other way for us to regain power."
"I told Amir: 'your support is important for my victory, and to bring the Labor back into power. Amir, I don't barter, and when I negotiate I mean what I say. I have nothing to offer you but to be part of the ruling party.' That is how I do things," he said. (Attila Somfalvi)
