Maybe that's the reason Israel is having such a hard time. If it allows such despicable conduct and lack of morality, perhaps Israel isn't ready to exist yet. Why do we need another country that tolerates such behavior? Of course the Muslim world is even worse, so I guess it doesn't really matter!

The problems caused by the sex-trade are indeed horrendous and something must be done. But the underlying problem is the desperate economic situation in the home land of these abused women. A great-deal of evils has stemmed from the fallout caused by the collapse of the former Soviet Union but until the economic situation in these countries improves efforts to cure the negative social effects of the sex trade will prove dire indeed.

It's good to see how Israelis learned compassion from the sufferings of their ancestors in the Shoah. Or is this a crude form of tribal "payback" against the descendents of anti-Semites? It's hard not to read a story such as this and not think of Israeli society as profoundly corrupt.

This is quite a disgusting act that is going on, i believe that it is not solely localised to this country, it happens all over the world, but that does not make it an excuse for the actions to go unpunished, in australia if someone got busted up for running a prostitution ring, they would get more than a slap on the wrist, i believe that is where the real issue lies here, is the corruption of the israeli police, courts and government which allows these heinous crimes to continue uninhibited...
