It takes a lot of courage that is usually beyond normal people to say NO to something you don't believe in especially when everyone else is subconsciously accepting...This is a brave individualw who deserves Respect.

Israel needs more like you. When I stayed in Israel, I befriended many young people who were refusing to serve and were living in caves etc.. avoiding the brutal racist army of Israel. These kids were great. They had morals.

If this young man doesnt want to serve in a combat unit there are plenty other areas not even remotely related to combat operations for him to serve, such as Education or other office-work shuffling paper. If he really doesnt want to serve in the IDF he can go serve as a police offier (not magav). Its called dodging your duty and obligation to the state and its people.

Under international law, territories are considered "occupied" only when taken in an act of aggression which does not apply to Israel. Judea, Samaria and Gaza are not 'occupied territories' according to international law because they were not taken from any foreign sovereign. The Muslims massively desecrate and destroy Jewish and Christian holy sites, sacred to Jews and Christians for thousands of years. This is an attack on every Jew and every Christian. But much more than that, it is an attack against the One great G-D, Creator of the universe.
