2. Cholent :)
Ray Hanania ,   Chicago, USA   (06.17.05)
Ah, ah. Alison cooks it all the time. As she explains it, Cholent is a meal (beans, potatos, meats and lots of water, a stew basically) cooked for 24 hours until Sundown on the Sabbath, and it sits until the next day when it is served. Arabs have the same meal. We call it leftovers. Shabbat shalom! Ray Hanania
3. "Palestinian" doesn't exist!
Daisy ,   USA   (06.18.05)
There is no such thing as "Palestinian" anything! It's just Arab lies.
4. Ray for president and his wife for PM
Ian ,   Sydney Australia   (06.18.05)
Ray, I recon they should make you president of the PA and your lovely wife Israeli PM. I dont wanna sound funny but I think between you and your wife you'd probably be able to sort out all the harah (hebrew word? arabic word?)

Why are you so mean.? Were you born that way- or was it taught to you? Most children are not mean- they learn it later and become mean adults. I am sorry you fall into the latter. Palestine did and does exist- www.palestineremembered.com Jews did and do exist but they are the ones moving to the new country on the block. You should be more courteous to the locals or you may get a bad reputation.

8. Re Palestine

9. to 8

bet the Jews like that too. You know, I think that the Palestinians and the Jews lived together ppeacefully up until the UN created Israel in 1948- There were mosques, synagogues, churches and life- It was when the JEWS demanded for JEws to be the majority that the trouble started.
10. Go eat Indonesian food!
daniel ,   Amstersam   (07.01.05)
There is a dish in Holland which is called Nazi-Göring http://www.recipecottage.com/rice/nasi-goreng02.html Can I eat that and still be a good Jew?
11. Settleting the Palestine issue
daniel ,   amsterdam   (07.01.05)
The Romans called the place Palestine in order to erase the Jewish hold of this Land after the rebellions in 67 and 132 of the common area. I agree with Daisy that there was no people who called themselves Palestinians some 60 odd years ago, just like nobody called themselves Dutch in Holland 600 years ago. Nationalism came late to the Arab world. However there is today a group of people who define themselves as Palestinians. Because they do so they are. There is no point in telling them they do not, since they very cleary define themselves as a nation. What you do is like telling the Jews they don't exist as a nation. But we are a nation, so are the Palestinians. Daisy you have to realise that the Palestinian right to nationhood and the Palestinian right to this land is identical to our right. We say we are a nation and we have an historic claim. They say they are a nation and they say they have an historic claim. These claims are not mutualy exclusive, you don't have to deny the Palestinians their roots in order to confirm ours. Palestinians should learn the same: Accept our claim and we will accept yours. There will be a Jewish state because there needs to be one, there also needs to be a home for the Palestinian people. Why? Because they are.
12. Hey Rachel from Ray Hanania
Ray Hanania ,   Chicago USA   (07.10.05)
Hi Rachel Do you know any groups in Jerusalem that would be interested in hosting a Palestinian-Jewish comedy event ... I am hoping to come there in September and wonder if there are any contacts ... maybe others might know. Thanks Ray Hanania
