If Israeli media starts having Arabic subtitles for news shows and political talk shows it is a start. Israeli military is the only visible media for the Arabs and their langauge is the only language spoken to Arabs. Palestinians need to understand what political issues are there in the Israeli society, what are the concerns, opinions. Media should have Arabic subtitles.

They are so persecuted

We see Palestinians and Israeli Arabs interviewed on our Hebrew TV all the time and we are definitely exposed to the Arab narrative. Al-Jazeera does not have the monopoly on interviewing the "other side". The problem is that most Arabs interviewed such as Arab Israeli members of Parliament, take our enemies' viewpoint, campaign actively for Israel's demise which would be considered treasonous in any other country, and generally generate a very negative image of the communities which they represent. Thus Arabs on Hebrew TV have a credibilty problem. However more Arab shows representing popular Arab culture on Hebrew TV, not just political documentaries and talk shows, would help to break stereotyping. The reverse is true also of course and Arabs need to see beyond the Jewish Israeli stereotyping as #5 pointed out. That said, there are several hours of Arabic TV on Channel 1 every day when every day issues are discussed with spakers from all communities and political persuasion.

BECAUSE THE ISRAELI ARABS ARE THE 5TH COLUMN IN ISRAEL. THEY LIVE IN ISRAEL BECAUSE BEN GURION TOLD THEM TO REMAIN IN THEIR HOMES DURING THE WAR OF INDEPENDENCE IN 1948. THAT WAS ISRAELS NO.1 MISTAKE! THE GOVERNMENT SHOULD FIND A WAY TO INDUCE THEM TO LEAVE ISRAEL. IF THE GAZA IS RETURNED TO THE TERRORISTS MAYBE MANY WILL GO LIVE IN GAZA. SPIES LIVE AMONG THEM.
