1. Yaalon is an arrogant political thug
accessol ,   Spelthorne, England   (06.28.05)
Yaalon is a rigid fellow-traveller of the settler fanatics so why would Sharon or anyone else be dumb enough to give him the opportunity to stir up trouble sooner than necessary. He should just pipe down and buzz off; he had his chance to write some decent world history and all he succeeded in writing was the autobiography of a nasty bully.
2. It should be clear to everyone...
Matthias Roth ,   Switzerland   (06.28.05)
...that the disengagement plan was born out of Sharon fear of an indictment on the Greek Island affair. Anyone who really believes that he made a change of heart makes a fool of himself. Sharon is nothing more than an individual who thirsts for power and to get it, he is ready to sacrifice his former allies. Sharon certainly is a war hero, but he also is corrupt.
3. Wagging the Dog Happens in Public
akiva ,   chicago   (06.28.05)
Ariel De Gaulle didn't think it necessary to consult the generals called upon to bail his fat out of the fire on Greek Island
4. HE READ IT IN THE PAPER!!!!!
Ann C. ,   MO, USA   (06.28.05)
Basically, he had the plan shoved down his throat. And asap, Arik got rid of him. MADNESS reigns in Israel while their Arab neighbors close in for the kill. Please folks, take to the streets and bring down this evil government of Arik Peres.
