Perhaps including Ariel will be the price the Palestinians must pay for a land link across Israel to the WB. This does not HAVE to be done by Israel and I know of no other nation in the world that has anything like this or would consider it. Cutting the country in 1/2? Think of the security headache. Personally, I think the Pals. in Gaza should have to take a flight to Ramallah. Such a link should carry a heavy cost for the Palestinians, involving some settlement blocks. This link is worth more to them than Israeli annexations of slivers of land with Israelis living there already.
