Where do the figures for the settler population in Gaza come from? I've seen everything from 7,500 to, now from Yediot Ahronoth, 9000 settlers...does this latter figure include the 'infiltrators' and 'supporters'? Does anyone actually know how many people are there?

You're heard of the portion? Well here's the solution. Settlers should not be forced to move: they should be allowed to become Jewish citizens of Palestine. And if they don't like that, let them come over here and move to Florida. The Jewish proportion of the US population has fallen from 3.5% in 1960 to 1.8% today. Adding all of Israel's 5.2 million to the US's 5.3 million would bring it back up to 3.6% and there would be PEACE in the world because the crime of 1917 would finally be atoned for.
