31. Jewish Terror
Arie ,   Toronto   (08.04.05)
This is a horrible incident that must be condemned outright.. No terror is legitimate. However, we must realize the fact that for every 10,000 incidents of Arab terror there is one incident of Jewish terror. It is simply unfortunate that a Jew has stooped to the deplorable level of Palestinian terrorists..
32. good jew
tapuach ,   kfar tapuah israel   (08.04.05)
what i think is so sick here is how he is described as "crazy" a "nut", etc. he wasnt. i knew him, and i love to see how others, who know nothing about him except that he shot arabs. i dont know why, but im said he did, because 1 million arabs were not worth him, and this certainly wasnt worth it. the sickest part is, how he was killed while cuffed to a seat, with the police standing there. when a jewish settler killed an arab terrorist who had been cuffed, he was given a long sentance. i know that not one arab, including the cop who tied him to the chair and let him die, will ever be tried.
33. Predictable provocation by Fanatic
Eli Vardi ,   Israel   (08.04.05)
This was what was feared would happen. A settler from Tepuach, newly religious and a member of an illegal organisation decides to create an Israeli Arab uprising to distract the army and police from the withdrawal from Gaza. All this hysterical aggitation by the orange brigade is creating monsters out of our children. I fear that this will not be the last attempted provacation to start a new war. These fanatics would rather start a war, and destroy Israel, rather than give up their right to live in their illegal ghettos. I appeal to all religious and non-religious zionists to stop this madness and agitation before more of our citizens and children, of all religions, get killed. These kids will be traumatized when they see that their messianic fervour didn't help, and their G-d didn't intervene, and we withdrew from Gaza.
34. ARABS ACT LIKE THIS EVERYDAY!
Daisy ,   USA   (08.04.05)
35. pull out from all the occupied territories NOW
Isabelle Grynberg ,   Antwerp, Belgium   (08.04.05)
If the State of Israel continues to act in that colonial way and goes on unlawfully occupying the land of the Palestinian people, such madmen - who think they are acting on behalf of their god - will sow more and more violence on each side. Terror is not the apanage of a religion, a race, a colour of skin... The one and only common thing terrorist of all sides share is a total absence of respect for human life and basic human rights. And let's face, being jewish is definitely not a vaccine for madness, extremism and violence! My advise: pull out of all occupied territories before it's too late.
36. ‘Vile act by terrorist’ ???
Michael ,   Austin, TX, USA   (08.04.05)
Actually....think about it....I'm seeing this incident reported in the press (both Israeli and US) pretty quickly and thoroughly. Thus, it seems that any incidents like this would be reported on whenever they happen. arabs claim incidents like this happen every day...massacres and genocides, etc. well...then why don't I see it reported every day? Maybe because things like this happen perhaps once in a decade. arab terrorism happens, it seems, on an hourly basis.
37. Let's see the IDF demolish this terrorist's house....
Arik ,   USA   (08.04.05)
I wouldn't hold my breath though...
38. Sincer Condolences to the people of Shafaram
Eli Vardi ,   Israel   (08.04.05)
I would like to offer our sincere condolences and apologies for the tragedy of today. Murder of innocent Israeli citizens by any other Israeli is a terrible thing. As a co-religionist member of the murderer I can only offer our regret and hope and pray that that the wise judgement of your people will prevail and you will see it as the lone action of a lunatic that it was. No one country or religion has a monopooly on murderers.
40. 26 - who treats whom in what way?
mike ,   usa   (08.04.05)
you sound like this kind of thing happens often. twice in israel's history, and how many times WEEKLY by islamakazies? pretty ridiculous to say that, but, then again, this is how you guys think.
41. we should all listen to Isabelle
Michael ,   Austin, TX, USA   (08.04.05)
her country has an absolutely spotless history and are noted for being very kind and generous to the people that they occupied. Isabelle...you are the grandchild of murderers...you have no business lecturing anyone else.
42. 36-THE ARABS WANT IT ALL-ONE WW3 AND NO ONE WILL CARE
(08.04.05)
THEM
43. ONE PERSON COMMITTED THIS ACT. DO NOT BLAME ALL JEWS!!!
Linda Rivera ,   New York   (08.04.05)
My condolences to the victims and their families. In the Bible, G-D commanded:: "You shall not murder" Ecclesiastes 12:13-14 "fear G-D and keep His commandments, because this applies to every person. For G-D will bring every act to judgment..." The murder of innocents is regarded as wrong by all societies, yet the maimings and murders of THOUSANDS of Jewish innocents is about to be rewarded with an Islamist terror state in the Jewish Holy Land. It will bring down great judgments from G-D. It may not be right away, but the judgments will come. They will be terrifying. Palestinian Authority Minister Mohammed Dahlan is in charge of coordinating the withdrawal with Israel. Dahlan is responsible for the bomb attack on the Israeli school bus in November 2000 in which two school teachers were murdered and three children from the Cohen family lost their legs. If Jesus Christ lived today, from the time Jesus was in his mother's womb, he would be targeted for murder by the Islamofascists for being a Jew living in his homeland of Israel. The Palestinian Authority hailed as heroes the terrorists who brutally murdered the beautiful and innocent 8 months pregnant Jewish Gaza mother and her four little daughters. The Palestinian Authority teach the murder of Jews-the brothers and sisters of Jesus Christ, as a religious obligation through their mosques, media and public education system. Broadcast from Gaza mosque, Oct 13 2000, Dr. Ahmad Abu Halabiya, on Palestinian Authority TV (transcribed by Memri): "Have no mercy on the Jews, no matter where they are, in any country. Fight them, wherever you are. Wherever you meet them, kill them. Wherever you are, kill those Jews and those Americans who are like them..." Bible, Obadiah 1:15 "For the day of the L-RD draws near on all the nations. As you have done, it will be done to you. Your dealings will return on your own head." Jonah 3:8 "let men call on G-D earnestly that each may turn from his wicked way and from the violence which is in his hands."
44. to ramzi the arab
aharon ,   settlement   (08.04.05)
1 palastine does not exist. 2 you by ur own deffinition are a terrorist i then cannot believe nething you say even that u r a terrorist?? 3 he is living in israel therefore in the eyes of the "civilised" world he is a settler terrorist juden scum call him what u want up until the entire story has been revieled and that in fact until the situation has been proven otherwise i would like to suggest some thieving arab attempting to steal his weapon/ attack him הי"ד 4 dont be so quick to jump to conclusion as my good old Father likes to say that jumping to conclusions is the only form of mental excercise that some people get. 45. How many political points are the dead worth?
Warren ,   USA   (08.04.05)
A flood of knee jerk reactions, typically, seems to appear within seconds of the initial release of a report of this type of incident. Many responses appear to be fired off quickly with what appears to be considerable malice but little thought. Those actually killed are usually little more than an afterthought. Their deaths merely serve as even more "proof" that a poster's crudely expressed partisan political opinions are correct without question. Which posters and side(s) does this more accurately describe? I will leave an opinion on this aside and let the reader try to answer this question for themselves with as much of an open mind as they are capable of. When some people are murdered, it is apparent cause for quiet celebration or joyous celebration by passing out candies and sweets. When other people are murdered under similiar or the exact same circumstances, it is cause for outrage without bounds.
46. LISA: THANK YOU, THANK YOU FOR YOUR WORDS

47.  the fruitcakes from eng and georgie from les-bonbon
cliff from montreal ,   canada   (08.04.05)
wow, you will never change.what is with you fruitcakes? always defecating verbal abuse everywhere on Jews!Sick minds like yours should be locked away.hey georgie? jealous no one ever 'chose' you..runt of the litter and it shows, little bobo.
48. TO ALL YOU WHO SUPPORT THIS ACT OF VIOLENCE IN ANY WAY
Elad ,   USA   (08.04.05)
I herby revoke your right to be called a human being. This fanatic was another of the many crazy terrorists in the settlements and if you support him or his act then you too are a terrorist, a fanatic, a dead beat, a moron, a crazy person, who should be denied any basic human rights. You will be the end of our nation, our home, and our well being.
49. Arabs who make me laugh!
t.l. ,   Israel   (08.04.05)
May I remind all you Arabs who are here to take a jibe at this atrocity that it is an extremely isolated incident, so isolated that it occurs much less than the rate of which Israeli Arabs have abetted "Palestinian" terrorists to carry out attacks against Jews. Why don't you people scream whenever Arabs commit atrocities against other Arabs, such as when a group of Hamas terrorists tortured a couple in Gaza after they didn't like how they were holding hands in public. After they tortured the women they murdered her. It's interesting how I never see you being outraged about things like that. What happened today was a despicable by a lone murderer and should not under any circumstance be used as an example to compare "Jews" and the Arab terrorists. In fact, Israeli Arabs are more safe in Israel, the Jewish state, than the Jews themselves.
50. I couldn't agree more
Yehudit ,   Yerushalayim   (08.04.05)
“Obviously this could have happened as a result of incitement. I hope everyone draws the right conclusions and stop the incitement.” If the report is accurate, then this man was already troubled before he ever reached Tapuach. No doubt as a result of GOVERNMENT INCITEMENT! Sharon's unilateral actions in direct contradiction of the platform on which he won election is just the beginning. Does anyone know OR CARE if maybe he had parents or grandparents who were expelled in Europe? Many soldiers do and this could greatly increase their distress at being called upon to be part of this atrocious plan! If there are others, then the responsibillity lies in only one direction...Kiryat Hamemshalah.
51. To Isabelle 35
(08.04.05)
Two questions: What does this have to do with ending the occupation? This happened within the 49 borders of Israel. Also will you stop the occupation of flemish belgium?
52. ARABS LYNCHED HIM IT IS AGAINST HUMAN RIGHTS LAW !!!
(08.04.05)
53. The root cause
Tom Sawyer ,   Hannibal, MO USA   (08.04.05)
Of course, we are all against terrorism. But you have to examine the root cause. This boy was frustrated by years of Islamo-fascist mass murder attacks against Jewish children, women, and elderly. He did not have jet fighters and tanks to fight the Muslim terrorists, so he used his own gun. He is now a "martyr." I am being sarcastic. There is no excuse for this attack. Nor is one form of mass murder worse than another. But let's not forget that the PA in particular and Muslim world in general have supported, encouraged, or at least made excuses for hundreds and hundreds of such mass murder attacks. I'm amazed it took this long for some Israeli Jew to crack. Still, I hope and trust the Israeli government will take real action to prevent future attacks of this sort, and that Israeli society in general will show compassion for the victims and their families. I don't think we'll see the killer's parents saying how proud (and even jealous!) they are that their son killed four Arabs the way we do after Islamo-fascist mass murder attacks against Jews.
54. diversion
switzerland   (08.05.05)
There is something strange about this event. It has happend just when all people´s attention was focused on the non-violent antipullout rally. It smells like a manipulation to create a diversion.
55. Had he been an ARAB, shoot 1st ask later
Ali ,   Jerusalem   (08.05.05)
It’s funny how the police were trying to protect him after he killed 4 people and injured more Had the attacker been an Arab, the Police / Army would’ve shoot first and asked later. But because he was a Jew, the police wanted to protect first and ask later. This is true to the attack in Hebron in 1993 and another attack in early 80s during which Jewish attacker who killed over six people at Al-Aqsa mosque. There were other incidents in which settlers attacked and killed Palestinians. None of these incident, did the Police or army tried to kill the attacker; on the contrary, they tried to protect him. If we switch sides, the opposite is 100% true, in any case that an Arab tired to do the same. The Police wouldn’t have waited to protect the Palestinian first; they would’ve tried to kill him first
56. Georgie Porgie and God's chosen kids
Eyal ,   Tlv.il   (08.05.05)
If you agree that we are the "god chosen kids" then this land is our land without a doubt. If you believe we are the chosen kids than this is ours because God gave it to us. Which means... Er. You lost. Please return to start. Do not collect $200. Silly rabbit
57. Israeli Terror
Frank ,   UK   (08.05.05)
When Israeli terrorist killed Palestinians,he is emotionally disturbed, and when it is done by Palestinian, he is a strng terrorist.I can't imagine how U judge your staff.I can bring U alot of article written by jews to show U who is the real terrorist. Isreal ust yesterday demolished three houses and in another area in Hebron, they just uproot olive trees and ordered people to leave their farm to built a new sttlements. All these crimes are approved by the Israeli govenment and by the terrorist prime minister. Saying this and U still blame Palestinians for attacking Jews, simply these people only understand the language of force and U are naieve if U think the conflict will be solved after the pullout, Isreal will never give up the West Bank and the conflict will continue...just keep these infos at the back of your mind....
58. How the hell could this be a racist act????
(08.05.05)
EDEN IS ETHNICALLY ARAB!
59. Condolences
Howard ,   west coast, USA   (08.05.05)
First of all, please accept my sorrow and condolences. It is terrible to hear about the murder of 4 more innocent Israelis by a terrorist Set aside the politics and religion, because they can never justify this). Let us mourn the victims and refuse to give terrorists what they want. Those who claim police bias against Arabs might want to ask whether the police in Shfaram are Jewish or Arab, yes? Isn't it possible that the police might want to arrest the murderer and get some questions answered? Sadly, mobs don't think. To Zada's friend in Tapuach: we can only judge the kid by what he did in Shfaram, which was purely evil. If you knew him as a better person, then ask what ideas led him to this point. Clearly, his leaders and role models encouraged him to become more and more extreme, until violence seemed the only answer; he should have been guided by someone more like yourself instead. Is there anything you can do to change the way people think, and prevent repetitions of this? No matter what Islamic Jihad, or Hamas, or anyone else does, we are responsible for our own actions. It is NEVER okay to murder innocent people. And we must all stand up against terrorism, by anyone, against anyone. We must NEVER justify or excuse it. Societies that encourage terrorism against others lose their self-restraint and collapse in violence and chaos. I don't want that future for my family in Israel.
60. Jews brand him a terrosist, but still anti-Israeli not happy
Andy ,   Israel   (08.05.05)
This is a sad day for Israel. As a proud Israeli I am glad to see that my leaders branded this murderer a terrorist no less than the hundreds of Jihad and Hamas terrorists who have killed innocent civilians. Some integrity in our leadership at least. Its a shame the Arabs reacted by lynching him. Due process of law should take place. Did Israeli police show favouritism by protecting him? That the police tried to protect the murderer was the right thing to do. Al least one of the Policeman had an Arab name incidentally. I do remember instances when Arab terrorists have been protected by the Israeli police and they are often treated in Israeli hospitals. On the other hand perhaps Israeli police might fear that the terrorist will attack them too.
