First of all there is no proof that what killed Rabin Was the bullet from Amir's gun. Yes he shot Rabin but there are photos of Rabin standing after the shot. I think what was meant that it wasn't necessarily incitement that caused Amir to act as he did - there could have been no incitement whatsoever and he would still have murdered Rabin.
