1. Mofaz-we will deal harshly
JOE ,   Israel   (08.16.05)
Anyone who has ever been a soldier, from private to general knows how incompetent and inefficient an army is. Friendly fire, helicopter collisions, training accidents and now the supposed encirclement of Gush Katif that allowed over 5000 infiltrators to enter and obstruct the withdrawal. The security forces have no one to blame but themselves for this "balagan" and the blustering and threats convince no one. Sorry, no one is going to clean up this mess for you, not even the big man himself.
2. Respectful youth, the cream of religious zionism
Yehuda ,   Jerusalem   (08.16.05)
Rabbi Shlomo Aviner, head of the Ateret Cohanim yeshiva, came to the scene and, with a loudspeaker, tried to persuade the rioters to disperse. A major brawl broke out as several youths tried to assault Aviner while others protected the rabbi. The army jeep left the area only an hour later as the brawl subsided. What has happened to our youth?
