For many years now I have felt that the IDF was no longer my army. It served the politicians who promoted the messianic schemes of the lunatic settlers. It glossed over the criminal acts of the settlers, who stole, destroyed property, beat and murdered. And even though I found the political-military high command of the army distasteful, it is the only army I have to defend me when really necessary. In my worst nightmares I would never called its soldiers "nazis" as did many settlers and many of those who post here in Ynet. Will the settlers on the West Bank be willing to have the same "nazi" soldiers protect and defend them over the months to come ? Of course they will. They are totally amoral, because their morality is not a matter of rational choice, but is divinely inspired and therefore is unquestionable.

Nice to know you get your news from World Net Daily. Its about as fair and balanced as it gets, right? I mean, of course its not unreasonable to say that Al-Qaida has nukes in the United States that no one else in the country outside of the good folks at World Net Daily have ever heard anything about. If one thinks that Haetzni is off the mark, consider this. Except for a handfull of supporters of the protest, where were the "elected" representatives of the people during this past week? Were they calming the protesters or aiding the refugees find temporary accomodations? Despite the natural tendency of a politician to have their pictures taken, they avoided the media like a plague. With the suffering people, they were not!

G-d help us if Haetzni is the voice of sanity! His is a voice of extremism and ultra-nationalism - abhorrent to most Israelis.
