Your question: "why don't they use airport in egypt." My answer: Because Egypt is not part of the future Palestinian State, and because independent States do not get dictated by their neighbors on how they should travel in and out of their independent state! Of course that is all assuming that Sharon intends to follow the guideline of the road map to peace!

From the news, honey. From the AIPAC spy scandal- From the info that Israel was selling China weapons technoligy. From people like you- who expose yourself to be more concerned for the welfare Of Israel (the jews), then America- though you live in the USA.

So what? They'll want a major league baseball team, their own pyramid, aircraft carrier and nuclear power plant just to make them feel "independent" and for "symbolic reasons". There comes a time when even Palestinians have to be realistic.

Here's the preamble to the "Patriot Act". "To deter and punish terrorist acts in the United States and around the world, to enhance law enforcement investigatory tools, and for other purposes." Care to show us which part of that preamble is directed toward AIPAC? Don't you find it suspicious that these men from AIPAC were allegedly spying, and yet they did everything they did in the open, as one would who didn't suspect that they were doing something wrong? Perhaps you ought to get over your impulsive bigotry and weigh the facts dispassionately.

Dear Shai, You too must be realistic; one cannot be independent and be governed by another! Israel must decide whether it wants Palestinians to be citizens of Israel with full rights and risk losing its Jewish majority or have them create their own independent Palestine with zero interference in their internal affairs! Israel cannot tailor how another country should act according to its likings! The best investment in security for Israel is achieved by making friend with the future Palestinians State rather than creating a terrorists ghetto that will spread its hatred and anguish on Israel for decades to come! Shalom.

I am being realistic. The Palestinians problems with rule dont' begin and end with Israel. They're problem is that their leadership doesn't exercise the obligations of rule together with its priviledges. The result of that is that Israel feels that it needs to protect itself from a brand of Palestinian nationalism that defines itself more by Israel losing than by Palestinians winning. Under that scenario, with Palestinians defining every Israeli casualty as "legitimate resistence", don't expect Israel to stand by and take yours or Abbas' word thta the "best investment in security for Israel is achieved by making friends wth the future Palestinian State". The Palestinians need to make a few investments of their own by eliminating the terrorist infrastructure before we invest in them. Once they've done that, they can build 10 airports for all I care.

That is the problem Shai, you do not care as you states and I guess if you do not care then I guess your opinion would be irrelevant!
