Finally, maybe some justice for victims of PA/PLO terror.
It should be noted that Bush and the Arabist State Dept will do all in their power to prevent the freezing of these assets.

The difference between the Israelis and the pals,is quite simple.The Pals were stupid enough to steal the funds that the international community gave them for their people,to help them out of their misery ,imposed by Arafat & his militants.Putting these funds in the banks of the USA, was very STUPID indeed.Further more when charges are brought against the Israeli army,soldiers are either sentenced to prison terms,reprimanded, or even dismissed,yes believe me,this does happen,even though you would find it hard to believe.Where as with the pals,you are "juged sentenced and then released"you even pass GO & collect the 200$."So I think you should have a little more RESPECT and LOVE,for the Americans,for all the money that they gave you.even though you never saw a dime.So I don't think you should be laughing ,crying would be more appropriate.

As a retired military person (U.S. Navy) I can tell you this with a lot of authority...
#1 It is NOT a terrorist act when a target is MILITARY.
#2 The USS Liberty was a SPY ship.

Yes, there was a coverup to make it look as if it was an accident. Both the US and Israel covered it up. Both sides knew it was a very bad situation considering we are allies.
At the time, Israel was at war, we (the US) was spying. (Lets understand this is standard operating proceedure for any country we ALL spy on each other)
Israel felt it's security was threatened. No, it wasn't an accident...But we can't point fingers.
Another problem I had with #6 is that he called it a terrorist act. It's never a terrorist act when one military is targeting another. Military targets in a hostile situation are always legitimate targets. Thank you for your polite response.
