Funny how we get the impression that you are all but the same person.Firstly as an American, your english should be a triffel, better than what you wrote.ARE YOU REALLY AMERICAN??? and yes,as you have not yet fathomed,(word to complicated)the author of #1 is from Israel so what, its written in black & white.or are you colour blind as well.If as you say It's Israeli terrorists that are running this talkback;why do you bother to add yours,This web site ,can do without your Racist and anti-sememitic remarks.I suppose you cannot read either, because, the headline of this article,is,IRAN PRAISES TERRORISTS.and the world knows that the majority of the funds recieved by these TERRORIST factions ,are given by the Iranian gouvernement, and to top it all ,they are very proud and open about it."sic"SO STEVE, RICHARD , JON&what ever else you call your self, lighten up a bit,get educated, open up a newspaper, read a book on whats happening in the real world,go out & meet new people,ANYTHING,just please spare us your rediculous comments on international politics.then I think we will all have pleasure once again in reading & commenting on these delicate & rather important subjects,Have a nice day.
8. He is serious
gil ,   ashkelon   (09.05.05)
Reacting too late at Hitler german lands claim must be a lesson for an unprecendented forseeable conflict .Same claim for land, awful reason: religion instead of nationality. Billion of fanatic fighters, millions of yet infiltrated potential terrorists, atomic weapons, long range rockets.Middle age Islamisc Holly War was quite won with swords, and only some thousands of remote fighters. This arrogant fanatic is serious when he speaks, exactly as Hitler was.His human and weapon means are by far more dangerous. So,remembering the disastrous Munich agreement,UE four leaders must stop their pathetic efforts to negociate with Iran .A bombing threat all western countries would wave should be better understood .

11. RE:"You're affraid of the truth" (actually, Iran is)
Steve ,   NYC, NY   (09.05.05)
Free and open societies, like Israel and the western countries who terrorist states like Iran denounce, afford its citizens an opportunity to an education and exchange of ideas that do not exist in repressive totalitarian regimes. The Ayatollah’s remarks obfuscate the fact that the Palestinian's have squandered more chances to live in peace than I can recall. The Palestinian’s for years supported a terrorist leader, Arafat, and now complain about their plight. He was a contemptible manipulative murderous thug. People are quick to forget how Gaza and the West Bank came under Israeli control – fighting to defend its right to exist. If the Palestinian leadership sincerely desires to live in peace it must take bold and decisive action that, so far, it has not had the moral or political conviction to do. Pandering to the needs of an acknowledged terrorist organization will not accomplish their desired outcome – to live in peace behind secure borders along side the State of Israel who wishes to do the same. The Palestinian leadership knows in its heart what it needs to do. Why are they silent when virulent rhetoric like this is spewed by its primary backer Iran? The Ayatollah’s poisonous rhetoric is the result of a cloistered and despotic society that is cutoff from the free and open exchange of thought and ideas. His views represent a severe distortion of his own religion. A religion, by the way, that shares many of the basic fundamental beliefs as Judaism and Christianity.
12. As the world turns (and sleeps)...
Jake ,   San Diego, CA   (09.05.05)
... and as the idiotic world media reports yet another sympathetic portrayal of "Jihadi groups"... three things are happening: 1 - Today's little Islamo-Hitlers gain even more sympathizers from the ranks of the uneducated & ignorant. 2 - The truly evil supporters of these vile are emboldened by the world media's Neville Chamberlain appproach, and... 3 - The day arrives sooner when military force is the only solution. After all, since evacuating Gaza to a terrorist mob bent on Israel's complete destruction is either a strategic and geographical suicide, or a perfect pretext to the next bigger and possibly cleansing middle east war... Gee whiz, boys and girls, since setting up the conditions for this war, and virtually guaranteeing that there WILL be such a future war... was this the REAL intent of leaving Gaza? And was it a good idea if that future war takes place, and goes the way the other wars have gone?
13. Good up to the last part Steve...
Eli ,   Florida   (09.05.05)
"A religion, by the way, that shares many of the basic fundamental beliefs as Judaism and Christianity" Not quite. Last time I checked neither Christians nor Jews lived by the "Law of the Sword" (see the Qu'ran) and felt that you should perish if you were not muslim (again check the Qu'ran). This is clearly emanating from liberal and muslim propaganda trying to make these religions all appear the same, and hence gaining sympathy, support, and even converts from jews/xians and the ignorant. Its a lie, please don't pass it on. Jews and muslims don't eat pork...that about where the similarities end. Elijah
14. Iran
Karen ,   Branford, FL   (09.06.05)
Typical terrorist propaganda. They are no better than all the others.
15. iran praises terrorism
anthony ,   lindenhurst,ny   (09.06.05)
launch the bombs already
16. So true
Jason ,   San Francisco   (09.06.05)
Not all us of in Cali are freaks, not even in San Francisco. Although most are, you should see some of the crap I see posted on busniess windows in this town. Pure hatred for Isreal for sure. The question that always gives me perspective on this issue is why are all nine wars (Thailand, Phillipines, Isreal, Iraq, Iran, Horn of Africa, US, India/Pakistan, Kosovo) being fought on this planet have Muslims fighting someone. Maybe they're the problem, not the Jews, not the Christians. Think about it!
17. yea right...
ryan ,   honolulu, hi   (09.07.05)
look man, read your history. first off, "freedom fighters"...poeple that blow themselves up aren't fighting anything, they're just killing people who have done them no harm. It's not like they're in an army because their real army got their behind handed to them in 7 days. Richard, u must be on crack. if the islamic regime hadn't taken over Iran there probably wouldn't be much terroris to speak of because shah backed the west and no one dared try to take on the mighty Persian army...unfortunately Iran is now poor and not so mighty. And as for Jon...are you smoking? before the Arabs took the land over it was Isrealy land...I guess what goes around comes around because they lost it the same way they got it. i bet u get mad because someone keeps it real. stop smoking and dreaming and see things for what they are.
18. RE: Good up to the last part
Steve ,   NYC, NY   (09.07.05)
Elijah, you have a point. I was referring to feeding the poor, acts of charity, etc- some basic fundamental similarities. And yes, many differences remain. What is conspicuous by its absense is the lack of similar concept to Tikkun O'Lam as we practice.
19. WAR
michael ,   midland USA   (09.07.05)
When the governing body of a country such as Iran general assembly shouts dead to America; they are in reality declaring War on the U.S. You have better watch your mouth or else don't cry when the bombs start falling.
