It is to be supposed that the decision by Tony Blair was one of a political nature aiming as comforting him with Jewish votes. 2) Nothing stops the Jewih community, the Moslem community, the Indian or Nepalese community to have they own " holocaust" days if there is any kind of historical justification. However, it is also true that the scale and magnitude of the crimes aginst humanity organized by the NSDAP regime ( the Nazis) are tragically unique in the history of 20th century ( and before) with the Armenian Genocide being the second one. If I was not broadminded, I would says that Moslems will be entitled to an " Holocaust day " when they will have reached a highest figure, when some regime will have decided the eradication of all Moslems in England etc.....but in a mixed culture, wished for and established with the approval of successive governments, I believe that the decision to cancel that "holocaust"day would come at the right time. A difficult decision to make, unless Tony Blair is ready to loose whatever Jewish votes he may be expecting in a possible election campaign.

Being from the UK myself I can let you know some facts. THe Muslims supported Holocaust memorial Day as it covered other genocide apart fromt he Shoah - Rwanda, Cambodia etc but they wanted the 'genocide' against 'Palestinians' included which the organisers rejected unless the 'genocide' against Israel by suicide bombers/wars etc was included. The Palesinians obviously rejected this and ths withdrew there support and have been campaigning against it ever since. Some of the people advising Tony Blair to cancel this are Muslim advisors who have such views that Freemasons and Jews convinced Blair to go to Iraq and that the 6 million Jews killed by the Germans was a big lie and completely exaggerated! Additionally, I think they are a bit annoyed that Muslim SS units were created by the Grand Mufti of Jerusalem to help the annilation of Jews and Serbs..... Therefore the Muslims have a holocaust memorial day to but chose not be included. This event is commemorated and participated by Hindus, Christians and Sikhs etc as well as Jews.

We've had centuries of Inquisitions, violent expulsions, Pogroms, and The Holocaust. If someone else would like to take our place then please let them.

Does the history offend people when it's only to stating facts? I don't care if some people feel sad or guilty. The islands around the UK such as Jersey and Guernsey WERE coccupied and English Jews of course were deported to concentration camps. What?? There has only been one major holocaust in Europe. There is no justification for any Hindu or Moslem holocause because there has never been one. Plus in case you hadn't noticed, the UK general election took place earlier in the year anyway, there wont be another for four years.

I think that a better title for this article would be "Great Britain annexed by Eurabia." Moslems set the tone for all future policies in Great Britain. They are doing exactly the same mistakes of 1938! A democracy must not be held hostage by a band of fascist,racist muslims. I AM DEEPLY SORRIED FOR UK! Have Muslims no respect for the dead? 6 Million Jews died, along with scores of other ethnic minorities, and Muslims would like to erase that event from history because it doesn't suit their agenda? First, decent people should feel nothing but contempt for Islamist Muslims living in the UK. They are living in a culture that stresses revenge and honor killings, disloyalty to the State, and an inability to show empathy or underestand the feelings of others because of their hatred for non-Muslims. Second, their world is a mixture of lies, and delusions. There has never been genocide against Palestinians although Islamists would sanction the murder of every Jewish Israeli if they had the power. However, they have learned the lessons of the nazis: If you repeat a lie enough times, people will believe it. Arab Countries invaded Israel in 1948 and their spokesmen openly predicted a massacre of the Jews. That is a fact. However, Israel's victory in its war of independence didn't end the calls for the annihilation of the Israeli Jews. I remember the crazed mobs in Arab countries acting like primitive psychopaths in 1967 when listening to the calls by their leaders to exterminate the Jews and their inability to accept the reality that Israel won the Six Day War. So they blamed the US for helping Israel even though their leaders knew that no country helped Israel. For them to take offense at the celebration of Holocaust Day is simply despicable.
