Something has got to be done to change a law that allows the harrassment of foreign officials because it will make England into a sinkhole for diplomats. Those antisemites and self-hating loons of the left are applying it to Israel. But what is to prevent someone from initiating a suit against a Chinese official for Tienneman Square or against President Bush, or Putin etc. England will be isolated diplomatically and blaming Israel and trying to isolate Israelis is nothing more than confining Jews to a ghetto.

The holes are being exposed one after the other of how the British have allowed the bleeding heart liberals and left wing lunatics to hijack the fair minded nature of the old school British legal system. The cynical use of British law has created an opportunity to bash Israel. For example why couldn't Jewish groups have Arafat arrested when he came to visit London?? What about former Chinese generals that have been based in Tibet?

Historically, Great Britain has always been closer to Arabs than to Jews. That is why "londonistan" could be established. The British law shows a lot of flaws, hence this kind of situation which is embarassing but will probably not change....It is now up to diplomats to find out a mutually satisfying way out. which will guarantee that no terror, moslem, Islamic, hoodlums, criminals of any kind can threaten diplomatic relations using this kind of procedure, obviously aimed at attempting to isolate Israel. However, the British have what they deserve for being too tolerant.

An apology from the UK is overdue, its about time. They really need to change their stupid laws.

TE Lawrence, despite his love and admiration for the Arabs was tricked into using them by his superiors to help defeat the Ottoman empire. In 1917 came the Balfour declaration helping the State of Israel come to be and actually is one strong arguement for its existence over an Arab 'Palestine' in its place. Jewish immigration was restricted to Palestine in the 20s and 30s as Britain did not have the forces to control a rebellious Arab population and play middleman betwen them and the Jews living there. During the cold war, the UK and Israel's ties were the closest as the USSR conversely supported the Arab states. However, since the decline of the USSR and the cold war in conjuction with the Intifada and Palestianian national awareness, a more careful line has been trodden, especially by Blair's government. The condemnation of the Assination of the terrorist 'spiritual' leader Yassin is one among many. Unfortunately, the UK now has a Muslim population of 1.5million out of 60million which means that they are becoming an increasingly pwoerful minority group whom the government dont want to alienate or upset as they are unpredctable - see 7/7 London Bombings and the failed attempt later in that month. It is becoming a sorepoint in the UK that Muslim feelings, protests and greivances are addressed far more quickly than other religious groups like Christians, Jews and Sikhs.

General Almog was responsible for the destruction of 59 Palestinian civilian houses in 2002. There was no evidence that any of those dispossessed was a criminal and this collective punishmment on the part of an occupying force is classified as a crime against humanity. Since the victims of this crime will never get justice from the oppressing army's government the only chance they have of justice is to use the British legal system. Remember Almog is also the man on whose orders Israel dropped a one-ton bomb on a Hamas leader's home, killing the man, an assistant and 14 civilians, nine of them children. Jack Straw is a disgrace to Britain for apologising to a mass-murderer.

When Palestinian terrorist use civilian homes as bunkers to shoot at israelis, those homes become a military target. When families of suicide bombers celebrate their son or daughters murder of inocent Israeli civilians, then they should be punished. Instead of stopping their child from mass murder, they egg them on. As an acomplis in a murder, you are as good as pulling thr triggrt yourself. What about all the jewish and arab civilians that are killed when a Muslim blows himself up,or when their is a "word accident" in a bomb factory located in an arab town. It would be more appropriate for the English government to arrest Toni Blair and Jack Straw for their support and encouragement of the Fascist government of the Palestinian Authority. In retrospect,they are no different than Hitler was in the years before the killing fields. They constantly express their views towards the democratic government of Israel and the world is blase to their purpose. They are clear as to what they want and yet England supports them.

Of course Almog should have been arrested.In the case of him not disembarking from the plane, the British Police should have boarded the plane,in accordance with the law, and carried out the arrest. It is obvious that there must have been some colution between the authorities,to have permitted this travesty of justice to be carried out. Furthermore shame on Jack Straw and the British Government,in suggesting that the laws be changed immediately to avoid any future similar cases. I wonder,if the culprit had been an Arab,would the situation be the same ? with the guily person being allowed to escape justice ? ..... I very much doubt it.
